Fotografia pochodzi z 2015 roku i jest częścią większego projektu, który nie został nigdy ukończony ani opublikowany. Byłam wówczas (nadal jestem), mocno zainspirowana naturą i roślinami, a w szczególności drzewami. Mnogość ich form, struktury kory, wyjątkowe detale –fascynowały mnie. Owy nieukończony cykl można nazwać ,,Portrety drzew”. To zdjęcie jest jednym z moich ulubionych z tej serii.
Agnieszka Chabros jest australijską fotografką, która pochodzi z Wrocławia. Z wykształcenia jest biolożką. Fotografii nauczyła się sama. W swojej twórczości skupia się na sztukach pięknych, modzie i martwej naturze, a jej mottem jest „zawsze staraj się być obecnym obserwatorem”. Kształty rzeźbiarskie, życie roślin oraz ludzkie ciało mają ogromny wpływ na jej ekspresję fotograficzną. Czerpie dużo inspiracji z form natury – kwiaty, krzewy i lasy w ich niekończących się kształtach i formach stanowią tło jej prac. Fotografie Agnieszki pokazywane były zarówno na wystawach solowych jak i grupowych, a także stanowią część publikacji takich jak Novembre, Lurve, Oyster, I-D, iGnant.de, Thisispaper, Pressure Paris, Catalogue Magazine, Coeval czy Self Publish Be Happy.
The photograph is a part of a bigger project, which has never been finished or published. It was taken in 2015. At the time I was (I still am) very inspired by the nature, plants and especially trees. Variety of their forms, textures of the bark, unique details – fascinated me. Unfinished series could be named ..Portrait of trees”. This picture is one of my favourite from the cycle.
Agnieszka Chabros is an Australian based photographer originally from Wroclaw, Poland. Schooled in biology studies and self-thought in photography. Her main focus is on fine art, fashion and still life photography and her the motto is: always trying to be the “present observer”. In her photographic expression she is heavily influenced by sculptural shapes, plant life and human body. She draws great deal of inspiration from nature forms in general where flowers, shrubs and woodlands in their endless shapes and forms serve as an integral backdrop of her works.Agnieszka’s photographs has been shown in various solo and group exhibitions, as well as publications such as, Novembre, Lurve, Oyster, I-D, iGnant.de, Thisispaper, Pressure Paris, Cataloque Magazine, Coeval or Self Publish Be Happy.
