Nie wiem dlaczego nie wykorzystałem tego zdjęcia do projektu Mile End. Podoba mi się, że Asher ma na sobie koszulkę HSBC. Wielkie banki, takie jak HSBC są ważną częścią mojej opowieści o Mile End.
Mile End jest zlokalizowany w gminie Tower Hamlets, która jest jedną z najbiedniejszych części przedmieść Londynu. Canary Wharf jest również jej częścią, a tam codziennie obraca się milionami dolarów/funtów/euro każdego dnia. Interesujący i pełny ironii jest fakt, że Asher, który pochodzi z Mile End nosi koszulkę jednego z największych banków.
Pani Paul – australijski fotograf, mieszkający i pracujący w Londynie. Zajmuje się głównie fotografią dokumentalną, mody i portretami. Jego książka Mile End została wydana przez palm studios w 2015 roku.

I don’t know what I didn’t use it. I really love the fact that Asher is wearing an HSBC shirt. The big banks like HSBC are quite an important part of the story of Mile End.
Mile End is located in Tower Hamlets which is statistically one of the poorest suburbs in London. But Canary Wharf is also part of Tower Hamlets which filters through millions of dollars/pounds/euros every single day. So it’s the fact that Asher wears this shirt ironically which makes it interesting to me.
